The 9' 6wt Orvis Helios 3F is the perfect heavy do-all rod, but with a softer touch. This rod has an overall softer action which allows for easier loading and casting regardless of the conditions. It excels at throwing hopper-droppers, nymph rigs, and streamers on a floating line. It has plenty of backbone to still fight big fish, but due to softer action don't plan on throwing any sinking lines with it.
