Purchased the Winston Air 2 4 wt. 8'-6" with a Sage LT reel to have a go to dry setup. It casts a dry extremely well and upped my game. My Sage X tip had recently snapped in two fighting a large brown, and I am in that wait for repairs cycle. Been using the Air 2 for nymphing in the morning switching to a dry setup in the afternoon, and it has been great for both.

New to fly fishing, and I don't have a lot to compare this to, but it's held up well; being banged around as I learn the ropes of setting up the tackle. It's a good weight, balanced on the rod, etc. Like I said I haven't experienced lower quality reels so I don't know what goes wrong with them, but this one is "not there" in the best way. IE it does what it's supposed to without any problems.
This is the new drag set reel not the pawl reel. It is a well balanced reel that does what it should. Very easy to set the drag and it is consistent every time.
I’ve been looking for a mid-weight pant to wear under my waiters for sometime. These were perfect. Just enough for those cold days, but not too much for warm days. They are cut slim, so they easily slide into the waders without pushing up at the ankles. They are exactly what I was looking for.
Came in looking for tying material for Pike flies, and I wasn’t disappointed. Great selection for what I was looking for and the prices you can’t beat them! Will definitely be back!
Was recommended this box by Kevin because of the large foam insert that really holds flies well and they are easy to get out of the box too. Great box and great recommendation!
