Water seemes to be getting lower and lower by the week on the Platte. This is bringing really technical conditions, especially with the large amount of weed growth within the river. Not all is lost! Fish tiny bugs and tie on small attractor bugs for your nymph rigs and you'll still do just fine; find the subtle drop offs and there will be fish. Please keep in mind brown trout are beginning to stage up for the spawn, leave spawning fish alone and be aware of redds so you don't fish on them nor walk on or near them.
