There's still plenty of water pumping through the South Platte right now and it appears Denver Water has no intention of dropping the flows, or keeping them stable for that matter. This hasn't been yielding the best fishing as of late, putting down numerous hatches that has resulted in fewer fish feeding. High water isn't a bad thing, but at the rates we've received them this year, as well in the consistent changing has the fish a little shaken up. Don't expect any dry fly fishing, nymphing is going to be your best friend. Worms, leeches, and scuds are going to pickup lots of eats, as long as they're small. Additionally, small trico, BWO, and midge nymphs will pick up some fish.
