Ultra Chenille is made of fine synthetic fibres, twisted onto a thread core.

Ultra Chenille is a stiffer and more uniform than standard rayon based chenilles. Ultra Chenille is most often used in San Juan Worm patterns, but it is also great for extended bodies on caddis patterns, woven nymph bodies, and wrapped for bodies on nymphs and streamers. Ultra Chenille can be singed with a lighter to taper cut ends and prevent them from unravelling.
