Golden Fly Shop strives to provide beginner, intermediate, and advanced education to our customers, regardless of skill level or background. Our goal is to provide education from our staff or from more experienced and popular individuals in the industry. We aim to help our customers grow and further explore this passion we call fly fishing.

June 12: Alpine Lake Fishing with Ron Belak
Friday, June 12th from 5-7pm. FREE Event with food, drinks, and discounted flies
August 1: Mastering Tarpon with Andy Mill
Saturday, August 1st from 12-4pm. FREE Event with drinks provided and TBD sales on saltwater gear. RSVP required
August 21: Carp Slam Fundraiser
Friday, August 21st from 5-7pm. $25 entry which includes a carp fishing presentation, fly tying demo, and drag and drop presentation. Dinner and drinks provided
September 26 and 27: Streamerfest with Blane Chocklett
Saturday, September 26th from 2-7pm enjoy tying demos from local signature tyers, food, drinks, sales, and a presentation from Blane. This day is FREE
Sunday, September 27th, from 9am-2pm Blane will be teaching a private tying class. Breakfast and all tying materials included in the cost. RSVP required
