Splitting your thread allows you to seamlessly insert deer hair, hackle barbs, CDC, and dubbing directly between the strands. Once your material is placed, simply spin your bobbin holder to lock the fibers in place for an incredibly durable, low-bulk wrap. Built with a smooth shaft and a specialized micro-edge and knob configuration on the tip, this tool effortlessly catches and separates individual fibers without fraying or cutting them.
How It Works:

Flatten your single-ply thread against the smooth shaft of the needle using your fingernail.

Slide the flattened thread down toward the micro-knob at the end of the needle.

Allow the small edge to grip and separate the individual fibers.

Pull back slightly, then push the rounded knob completely through to cleanly split the thread into two strands.
