Bear Creek is low, but very fishable. BWO's and midges are routinely hatching, but the "fun hatch" is finally here: caddis! These hatches will vary from day-to-day, but keep a lookout and have plenty of caddis dries with you as the trout can't resist them. A single dry fly would be great in the heat of the hatch, but fish aren't actively rising or bugs aren't flying, we'd suggest running a tiny nymph below the caddis dry. Water temps are quickly going to become too hot to fish, so get it while you can.
