Fly Fishing at Bear Creek, Colorado

Rating: 1/5

Current River Conditions

December 3, 2024

Bear Creek is skinny and clear right now, which doesn't offer the best fishing. Midge dry flies are going to be your best friend with how low things are. Sometimes throwing on a light nymphing rig or jigged streamer can work in slower pockets and pools. The flow is minimal at best though and we'd recommend going to Clear Creek.

Dry Flies:

Griffith's Gnat, Midge Cluster, Booty Midge, Pat's Midge

Nymphs:
