Fly Fishing South Boulder Creek, Colorado

Rating: 4/5

Current River Conditions

March 5, 2025

South Boulder finally is receiving good flows and has lead to great fishing. Midges, of course, will be the only hatch occurring right now. Our owner, Michael, went out below Gross the other day and did well nymphing with Irish ale midges, otter's eggs, and rainbow warriors. Keep an eye out for spawning rainbow trout and please leave them alone. Additionally, don't walk on or near the redds.
