Water is on the drop, which is re-concluding the float season on the Eagle. As these flows recede, the wade fishing has been phenomenal. Nymphing with "trash" bugs is still working as the fish became accustom to seeing these food items. Worms, leeches, and stoneflies have been working great with trailed with BWO, PMD, and midge patterns. Streamers always produce on the Eagle, so give it a try during rainy or cloudy conditions. Caddis, midges, hoppers, and the rogue sally or PMD are what's hatching right now.
